Description
Maximize your under axle ground clearance with these bolt-on Transit rear lower shock mounts. Van Compass has moved the shock 2" up from the factory location to protect the shock from harm and improve ground clearance on this low-hanging part of the suspension, the lower portion of the shock mount can be cut off for additional ground clearance. These mounts are compatible with theTransit 2" suspension lift kit that includes a 2" bump stop extension and lift block or 2" mini spring pack.
These will also work with Quigley and Quad-Van conversions which have a 2" rear bump stop spacer installed.
DO NOT USE THESE LOWER SHOCK MOUNTS WITHOUT A 2" LIFT KIT INSTALLED. YOUR SHOCKS WILL BOTTOM OUT BEFORE THE BUMP STOPS IF THE BUMP STOPS ARE NOT PROPERLY SPACED 2" DOWNWARD.
